The Red Bull Formula 1 team boss Christian Horner admits to four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel after seeing the mistakes made by Max Verstappen.
Verstappen nudged Vettel, who now defends Ferrari, to twist at the end of China GP race last week. A week earlier, the Dutchman hit a Mercedes driven by Lewis Hamilton in Bahrain.
Vettel climbed to Red Bull's senior team in 2009 and produced four F1 world titles before moving to Maranello. But in the season where he earned his first title, Vettel made a number of serious mistakes.
He knocked out his own team mate Mark Webber in Turkey and McLaren rider Jenson Button in Belgium in 2010. Horner mentioned that Verstappen, now in full season with both Red Bull, is also going through the same learning process."Yes he made a number of mistakes," said Horner. "I remember when Sebastian also passed the same phase of his career, so it's not unusual for him to make some mistakes.
"I think he [Verstappen] has learned a lot, he will use it for the better in the future, and in the next races.
