Guardiola Make Sergio Aguero Absent Until The End Of The Season

Manchester - Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola makes sure if Sergio Aguero will be sidelined until the end of the season. Guardiola said Aguero had to rest for four to five weeks to recover.

The Argentine striker had just undergone surgery on his right knee. The injury was obtained Aguero when City lost 2-3 from Manchester United at Etihad Stadium on April 7, 2018.

Known injuries experienced by Aguero is an old injury that relapsed. So it takes special action to get him healed and not experience the same problems in the future.

"It's true Aguero will be absent until the end of the season," said Guardiola as quoted from Soccerway.

"It will take him four or five weeks to recover, hopefully, and we are working to get him in the right conditions to play in the 2018 World Cup," said the former Bayern Munich coach.

With injury and a long healing period, Sergio Aguero is doubtful to be fit during the World Cup. He will recover before the 2018 World Cup, but not necessarily 100 percent while playing for the Argentina national team.

Because it will not play again in the rest of the 2017-2018 season, Pep Guardiola preach if the player is no longer in Manchester. "Sergio Aguero is now in Barcelona to undergo a first stage rehabilitation," said Guardiola.Source: Bola.net
